This exhilarating full-time position awaits you in the vibrant city of Montevideo, Uruguay.

JOB SUMMARY:

  1. Delivering exceptional customer service while effectively collecting outstanding and aged account balances.
  2. Documenting all collection activity, maintaining organized records, and promptly responding to inquiries from relevant parties.
  3. Ensuring the quality, integrity, and proper execution of assigned tasks.
  4. Adhering to all relevant policies, procedures, and regulations at local, state, and federal levels.
  5. Maintaining satisfactory levels of productivity across all assigned accounts.
  6. Efficiently utilizing processes and client systems to maximize effectiveness.
  7. Recording and maintaining complete and accurate documentation of all activities.
  8. Developing feasible payment plans for patients or responsible parties to adhere to.
  9. Analyzing data to identify trends and presenting areas of focus for informed decision-making and strategic planning.
  10. Responding to and following up on all inquiries and requests.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:

  • Effective verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proficient in phone etiquette and soft skills.
  • Strong critical thinking and investigative abilities.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English for both verbal and written communication.
  • Competent in computer skills.
  • Ability to comprehend and interpret medical claims.
  • Aptitude to assess problems and determine appropriate courses of action.
  • Maintaining a professional demeanor and attitude.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to excellence.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:

  • High School Diploma.
  • 1+ year of experience in credit/collections or customer service.
  • Alternatively, completion of 1+ year of university coursework.

The job is Monday to Friday from 12am to 21:00 pm with a one hour break.

The job is full English and requires an advanced oral and written/bilingual level.
